Today we are throwing it back with Married at the Movies with Bob & Marianne on Warm98 at Eastgate Brew & View! Bob and Marianne, the Morning Misfits, hosted their annual Valentine Wedding at Eastgate Brew and View on February 12th, 2015 on the morning show. Couples eagerly awaited to renew their vows and some getting married for the first time. Chef Q prepared delicious treats the the couples and their families to eat before and after the ceremony. Goodie bags were given away and one lucky couple won $500 towards a jewelry purchase! After the ceremony, couples and their families stayed to a movie in the new theater!

We were ecstatic about the opportunity to do a special screening of RACE, the story of Jesse Owens, at his Alma mater, The Ohio State University, on Monday night! We had a day full of special events with Stephan James, the actor who plays Jesse in the movie, and Jesse Owens’ daughters, Gloria and Marlene. With a social media photo op in the The Ohio Union, the popular student center, during the day students learned more about the movie, talked about Jesse Owens’ legacy, and were able to win tickets to the screening by posting on social media.When evening rolled around, the team headed over to The Wexner Center for the VIP reception and red carpet! With cameras rolling and lights flashing, Stephan and the sisters gracefully made their way down the carpet followed by some amazing company. That list includes but is not limited to President Drake, Stephanie Hightower, and Ohio State athletes. Nothing does this event justice, it was awesome!

On Friday night, David Bowie fans from all over Cincinnati gathered at the Esquire to pay tribute to the late icon in a screening of LABYRINTH. We had so much fun as people walked through the doors decked out, head to toe in Bowie costumes that blew us away! The sold-out event was packed full of people celebrating a beautiful, fun life complete with a costume contest and Bowie inspired drink specials. Ray and Karen, The Morning Misfits on Mix 94.9, hosted the event, leading an intense round of trivia! Sherry Amott Tippey, who worked on the film, led a Q&A after the film and gave awesome insights to the behind the scenes of the movie!  The pictures can only begin to explain how awesome this event was!
